Our mission is to qualify trainers in crafts and IT in order to open up new opportunities for young people in Somaliland. We are committed to sustainable education and empowerment.

Why Somaliland?
Somaliland is a region with great potential and at the same time with particular challenges. Many young people have no access to qualified training and therefore have few prospects on the labor market. There is a lack of well-trained specialists, particularly in the skilled trades and IT sectors, who could support economic development.
This is exactly where Global Craft Mentors comes in. We create practice-oriented training paths by qualifying local trainers and preparing a pilot group in the IT sector for international activities. This creates new opportunities for young people in Somaliland and contributes to stability, participation and economic development.
Education creates stability and democracy
Education means much more than just learning a profession. It opens up opportunities for young people to be part of society, make their voice heard and help shape the future.
This connection is particularly noticeable in Somaliland. Where young people receive an education, the risk of poverty, radicalization and emigration decreases. Instead, self-confidence, economic independence and the willingness to take responsibility for the community grow.
That is why our work is more than just training. It is a contribution to stability, democracy and sustainable development.
Why every support counts:
Over 70 percent of people in Somaliland are under 30 years old.
Youth unemployment is around 70 percent.
Each apprenticeship generates income for an entire family.
Effect:
Every donation or partnership directly changes lives.
